Job Title:
  Kitchen Assistant - Food Preparation

Job Description:
Culinary experts are sought to manage food preparation and cooking tasks in our kitchen. Responsibilities include following established recipes, maintaining high food safety standards, and efficiently managing kitchen supplies.
  Key job responsibilities include:
  1. Cook meals according to set recipes and batch plans
  2. Oversee safe and consistent cooking, cooling, and blast-freezing procedures
  3. Work with the kitchen assistant to prepare and portion meals
  4. Label and store meals correctly, ensure packaging is accurate, hygienic, and well-labelled
  5. Monitor kitchen supplies and assist with ingredients stock checks
  6. Maintain high food safety and hygiene standards at all times
  7. Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen workspace
  8. Collaborate with team on improving processes and new menu items
  9. Assist in fulfilling customer orders – packing, labelling, and preparing for dispatch
  10. Carry out other kitchen-related tasks as needed

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  Applicants must have previous experience in a kitchen or food production setting (chef, cook, or similar role), strong understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety (Level 2 Food Safety or higher preferred). Additionally, they should be efficient, reliable, and detail-oriented with a positive attitude, able to work independently, and comfortable with batch cooking and following standardised recipes.
