Job Title: Occupational Therapist

The Salvation Army is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join their team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of residents by providing personalized occupational therapy services.
Responsibilities:
- Administer occupational therapy services aligned with The Salvation Army's Mission and Philosophy of Care, focusing on resident comfort and health.
- Coordinate and ensure appropriate occupational therapy services by supervising, monitoring, and educating therapy and nursing staff.
- Implement and continuously improve standards of care and service that meet or exceed Ministry of Health and The Salvation Army's required levels of performance.
- Assess and identify individual needs of residents and formulate/develop and implement appropriate individualized music therapeutic programs.
- Evaluate and document residents' occupation therapy needs and progress at regular intervals, monitor training programs, and review its effectiveness.
- Refer residents to respective specialists for consultation and appropriate intervention.
- Train and supervise caregivers/volunteers in the maintenance of occupational therapy programs.
- Plan and schedule therapy care staff for relevant training in order to excel in their duties.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree/Diploma
- Full registration with APHC
