Asset Valuation Expert

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Asset Valuation Specialist to join our team as a key member responsible for ensuring accurate investment valuations and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement valuation policies and procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy across all asset classes.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to review and assess the valuation governance framework, policies, and procedures of external General Partners of our indirect private assets investments.
  • Review and resolve valuation exceptions and queries as the Subject Matter Expert on assets and securities valuation.
  • Oversee the pricing and valuation activities of service providers and ensure consistent methodologies and pricing vendors/sources continue to be appropriate and relevant.
  • Assist external valuation agents with the performance of external valuation processes for direct private assets investments.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Accounting, Finance, or Financial Engineering.
  • At least 8 years of experience in pricing and valuations of public and private assets.
  • Relevant experience in developing and implementing risk monitoring frameworks.
  • Good working knowledge of funds vehicles particularly Luxembourg SICAVs and Singapore VCC.
  • Product knowledge (Private Assets, Fixed Income, Equity, Mutual Funds, Derivatives).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Able to work independently as well as be a team player.
  • Good interpersonal skills; able to work with all levels of staff and management.
  • Resilient; able to work under pressure and ability to track and deliver assignments on schedule.
