Research and Development Professional

NTU invites applications for the position of Research Scientist/Research Associate.

The research scope includes clinical assessment of movement ability of various pathological cohorts, such as neurological and musculskeletal conditions, with a strong emphasis on data-driven movement analysis.

About the Role:
  • Conduct and support research in the rehabilitation field, particularly in human movement.
  • Design and develop user interfaces that interact with markerless motion capture systems.
  • Process and analyze movement data using suitable tools and methodologies.
  • Interact with clinical partners to understand research requirements and discuss analysis results.
  • Support the research team to publish research findings.

Requirements:
  • A PhD/Master or prior degree in biomechanics, data science, computer science, engineering, or related fields.
  • Knowledge of statistics and machine learning models.
  • Proficiency in coding using Python.
  • Knowledge of biomechanics and computer vision is a plus.
  • Experience in the following skills is a plus: (1) biomechanics software, (2) backend development, (3) front-end development, (4) cloud platforms.
  • Good communication and report-writing skills.
