Reliability Engineer Position

Job Purpose: Our team is seeking a seasoned reliability engineer to provide engineering solutions to reliability problems affecting our signalling, communication & control system and their associated equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with operations and maintenance staff to investigate defects, develop methods, propose modifications, and improve maintenance strategies.
  • Analyze and trend condition monitoring and defect data to identify reliability concerns, and develop methods, propose modifications, and enhance maintenance strategies.
  • Draft technical work instructions for preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
  • Identify and implement cost-effective technologies to enhance SMRT signalling, communication & control system performance.
  • Support projects by reviewing project design specifications to ensure safety, reliability, maintainability, and operability.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or equivalent from a recognized institution.
  • Previous railway system experience is advantageous.
  • Proficient with diagnostic and reliability engineering methodologies.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
