Early Childhood Intervention Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Intervention Teacher to join our team. As an EIP/Special Needs Teacher, you will play a crucial role in supporting the educational and behavioral needs of young children with special needs.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Classroom Management: Create a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes social-emotional growth and academic achievement.
  • Behaviour Documentation and Reporting: Monitor and record student behavior, identifying areas of strength and weakness to inform instruction.
  • Lesson Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with occupational therapists, speech therapists, and psychologists to design and implement individualized interventions.
  • Curriculum and Instruction: Plan, document, and report on academic progress, applying evidence-based interventions to support student growth.
  • Assessment and Grading: Conduct regular assessments, manage grading, and communicate student progress to stakeholders.

Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Advanced diploma in Early Childhood Intervention (Special Needs) or Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education-Teaching (DECCE-T).
  • Experience: Minimum one year experience working with young children with learning disabilities or preschoolers; teaching experience in EIPIC would be an advantage.
  • Skills: Strong command of written and spoken English language, knowledge of AEPS an advantage.
