Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Executive to join our team at ST Engineering. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing direct procurement activities for various ST Engineering Aerospace LoBs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage procurement activities for various ST Engineering Aerospace LoBs, including RFQ vendors, comparing quotations, negotiating prices, and generating purchase orders according to ST Engineering Procurement policy.
- Track and optimize shipping methods to ensure timely delivery.
- Verify invoices and resolve discrepancies with internal departments.
- Ensure deliverables meet contractual terms and expedite critical components to avoid AOG situations.
- Proactively manage relationships with internal business partners and customers to meet target KPIs.
- Contribute to cost savings and generate procurement reports.
Requirements:
- Degree in Supply Chain/Logistics Management or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain Management.
- 2-5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the aviation industry.
- Strong negotiation skills, resourcefulness, and self-motivation.
- Knowledge of SAP and prior purchasing experience in an aerospace environment are advantageous.
Working Environment:
As a Procurement Executive at ST Engineering, you will work in a fast-paced environment with various stakeholders. You will be responsible and independent at work, with a sense of rigor.
