Heavy Goods Transport Specialist

Lorry drivers with crane operating skills are essential for transporting goods and equipment to construction sites. As a Heavy Goods Transport Specialist, you will be required to operate a lorry crane to hoist heavy loads safely, maintain a positive attitude when interacting with customers, ensure your commercial driver's license is up-to-date, and perform daily vehicle checks to guarantee the vehicle's safety.
Main Responsibilities:
- Operate a lorry crane to lift goods and equipment efficiently.
- Maintain a professional demeanor when dealing with clients.
- Keep your commercial driver's license current at all times.
- Deliver construction materials and documents as assigned by supervisors.
- Conduct daily routine checks on the vehicle to ensure it remains in good condition.
- Transport workers to and from job sites, dormitories, and other locations as needed.
- Carry out any delivery tasks assigned by superiors.
- Class 4 Driving License
- Experience working with cranes
- Knowledge of construction processes and procedures
- Risk assessment and management skills
- Housekeeping and organizational skills
- Able to unload goods safely and efficiently
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with vehicles and maintenance practices
