Market Risk Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Market Risk Specialist to join our team in Singapore. As a key member of the risk management function, you will play a critical role in identifying and mitigating potential risks associated with our trading activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with traders to manage profit and loss (P&L) and hedging related work
  • Manage daily exposure and calculate value at risk (VaR)
  • Ensure that trading activities are within internal and external policies
  • Perform mark-to-market calculations and ad-hoc quantitative analysis as required

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from a reputable university
  • At least 2 years of experience in commodities risk management or middle office functions
  • Strong knowledge of VaR, P&L, and mark-to-market processes
  • Proficiency in VBA, Python, or R programming languages preferred
