Job Title: Hotel Room Attendant

The role of the Hotel Room Attendant involves ensuring that assigned rooms or areas are cleaned and serviced according to established standards and procedures. This includes tasks such as making beds, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, and removing trash.

This position requires attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and tidy appearance during work hours. The successful candidate will be responsible for observing guest floors and rooms in order to perform safety procedures as needed.

In addition, the Hotel Room Attendant will be responsible for establishing proper procedures and standards for tasks such as key management, room cleaning, and reporting missing items. They will also be required to maintain trolleys in good condition and ensure that they are orderly and clean at all times.

The ideal candidate will possess good physical health and stamina, with the ability to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays. While experience in a relevant sector is preferred, candidates with strong interest and no prior experience may also apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of assigned rooms and areas
  • Clean and sanitize bathrooms and other high-touch areas
  • Remove trash and recyclables from rooms and common areas
  • Establish and maintain proper procedures for key management and room cleaning
  • Report any technical issues or maintenance needs to the relevant authorities
  • Pack and count soiled linens and towels after each shift
  • Perform any ad-hoc tasks as assigned by management
