Job Overview

Our client is a well-established A1 contracting firm with General Building and Civil Engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and dismantle system formwork (wall slabs, ceilings, etc) for complex and critical works.
  • Lead, communicate and guide a team of workers with little to no formwork experience.
  • Support colleagues in executing project requirements.
  • Plan and organize work to meet expected outcomes arranged by Project Managers, Construction Managers and Foremen.
  • Work in accordance with personal health, safety and environment protocols at construction sites.
  • Ensure a safe work place for all.
  • Perform ad-hoc tasks as arranged by supervisors.

Requirements
  • At least 3 years of formwork supervisor experience required.
  • Valid Work-At-Height and BCSS certifications necessary.
  • Valid Supervise Formwork certification preferred.
  • Able to work 6 days per week, Monday to Saturday, 8AM to 5PM. OT rate shall be paid according to the Employment Act at 1.5x. Sunday 2.0x.
  • Valid SEC(k) certification - enhanced formwork preferred.
