Role Overview

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Research Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of a flexible array ultrasound imaging system for velocity estimation. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic research team and will have the opportunity to develop their skills in simulation modeling, signal processing, and deep learning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in project planning and management to ensure timely delivery of project outcomes.
  • Develop simulation models for flexible array ultrasound systems and design custom phantoms for experimental studies.
  • Design and develop non-linear signal processing algorithms, including deep learning algorithms for image reconstruction.
  • Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Coordinate procurement and liaison with vendors/suppliers.
Requirements:
  • Relevant competence in digital electronics, signal processing, machine learning, and deep learning.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Computer, or Biomedical Engineering with relevant undergraduate projects.
  • Proficiency in Matlab or Python programming languages.
  • Prior experience in publishing research papers is desirable.
Salary:

The estimated salary range for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
