Job Title: IT Infrastructure Specialist

About the Role:

  • We are seeking an experienced IT infrastructure professional with expertise in Microsoft 365 administration, Windows 10/11 systems management, and security hardening.
  • The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of infrastructure security, project management, and vendor coordination, as well as foundational scripting skills in PowerShell or Python.
  • This role is responsible for managing and maintaining Microsoft 365 services, including Intune, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE), Purview, and Conditional Access Policies.

Responsibilities:

M365 Administration
  1. Manage and maintain Microsoft 365 services, including Intune, MDE, Purview, and Conditional Access Policies.
  2. Configure and support mobile device management (MDM) and mobile application management (MAM) through Microsoft Intune.
  3. Implement and maintain information protection and compliance policies via Microsoft Purview.
  4. Monitor and respond to alerts and reports within the M365 ecosystem.
Windows Endpoint & Server Management
  1. Manage Windows 10/11 device deployment, imaging, updates, and policies via Intune and Group Policy.
  2. Apply CIS benchmarks to harden Windows environments and conduct regular compliance reviews.
  3. Perform regular patch management, vulnerability scanning, remediation, and reporting using tools such as WSUS, Defender for Endpoint, Intune or other industry tools.
Infrastructure Security
  1. Maintain and enforce Active Directory (AD) policies, including password policies, group management, and access controls.
  2. Administer Defender for Endpoint for threat detection and response.
  3. Support identity and access management best practices and participate in internal security audits.
  4. Support server hardening and remediation of findings from vulnerability scans.
Scripting and Automation
  1. Write and maintain PowerShell or Python scripts for automating tasks such as network connectivity checks, file system backups, and software installations.

Key Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management, preferably with Microsoft 365.
  • Expert-level knowledge of Windows 10/11 systems management, security hardening, and MDM/MAM.
  • Strong scripting skills in PowerShell or Python.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard tools such as WSUS, Defender for Endpoint, and Intune.
