Linguistic Specialist

Our company is seeking a highly skilled Linguistic Specialist to oversee transcription and annotation projects for AI/ML applications. This role will involve defining best practices for transcription and annotation, as well as conducting advanced linguistic analysis to identify dialectal variations, phonetic challenges, and speech disfluencies.

To ensure high-quality linguistic data, our ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of linguistic principles and have experience in linguistic data annotation, ASR transcription, or AI/ML-based language processing.

The selected individual will work closely with AI engineers, data scientists, and NLP researchers to improve speech recognition and language models. They should be able to communicate effectively and collaborate within a team environment.

This role requires a strong background in linguistics, computational linguistics, phonetics, or speech science. A Master's or PhD degree in one of these fields, along with at least 5 years of relevant experience, is essential.
