Key Responsibilities and Job Description

  • Cook a wide variety of Chinese dishes, including noodle-based meals.
  • Effectively manage food costs and inventory to minimize waste and optimize resources.
  • Follow established recipes and cooking instructions accurately to ensure high-quality dishes are prepared.
  • Inspect incoming ingredients from suppliers and store them in accordance with food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Precisely cook the correct number of portions for each meal period to prevent excessive food waste.
  • Ensure a clean and sanitized kitchen environment is maintained at all times, including equipment and utensils.
  • Operate all equipment safely and report any faulty equipment to superiors immediately.
  • Adhere to local health and safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by immediate supervisors.

Job Requirements and Essential Skills

  • Applicants with 1-2 years of relevant culinary experience are preferred.
  • Able to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Maintain composure under pressure and possess a positive attitude.
