Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned public relations expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building and maintaining relationships with journalists, editors, and media outlets.

  • The successful applicant will be responsible for developing and distributing press releases, media advisories, and thought leadership content that aligns with our brand messaging.
  • Pitching story ideas and securing media coverage that supports our business goals is a key aspect of this role.
  • You will track media coverage and provide detailed reports and insights to inform our response strategies.

In addition to your public relations expertise, you will also support the creation and implementation of crisis communication plans.

  • Drafting holding statements, FAQs, and media responses under guidance from senior team members is a crucial part of this role.
  • Maintaining and updating core brand communication tools, including media kits, executive bios, and company fact sheets, is essential.
  • Collaborating with design and content teams to keep assets up-to-date and aligned with current campaigns is a key requirement.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • A bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field is required.
  • At least 3-6 years of relevant experience in public relations, media, or corporate communications is necessary.
  • Demonstrated success in securing media coverage and managing press outreach is essential.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities are critical.
