Avionics Technician Position

We are seeking a skilled Avionics Technician to join our team in Singapore. As an Avionics Technician, you will be responsible for the repair, overhaul, and modification of Avionics Line Replaceable Units.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate test equipment to troubleshoot and repair Avionics LRUs.
  • Conduct regular functional tests and calibration on Automated/Manual Test Equipment.
  • Ensure all test equipment are within calibration due-date before testing of LRU is carried out.
  • Perform modifications according to service bulletins on LRUs as required.
  • Troubleshoot customer's units and return them to a serviceable condition efficiently.
  • Verify and ensure all repairs or modifications conform to quality and workmanship standards.
  • Maintain good housekeeping practices at the workplace and test benches at all times.
Requirements:
  • Minimum Diploma in Electronics is mandatory.
  • Minimum one year of experience in Avionics equipment repair; recent graduates welcome.
  • Able to read digital and analog electronics circuitry.
  • Proficient in manual soldering on electronics components.
  • Good color perception.
  • Effective communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to interpret schematic diagrams, troubleshoot, and repair PCB assemblies down to component level.
  • Competent to conduct tests according to the Component Maintenance Manual.
  • Able to interpret and evaluate test results, and write test reports.
