We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced educator to join our team at School of Infocomm. As a Data Science Educator, you will play a critical role in developing and delivering high-quality curriculum in data analytics and machine learning.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and administering module delivery, including student assessments and assignments, to meet learning outcomes. You will also plan, design, and develop module curriculum, learning activities, and materials. Additionally, you will stay current and responsive to changing developments in the profession and educational landscape through active engagement with industry and professional bodies/communities.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and administer module delivery, related activities (including student assessments and assignments) to meet learning outcomes.
  • Plan, design, and develop module curriculum, learning activities, and materials.
  • Stay current and responsive to changing developments in the profession and educational landscape through active engagement with industry and professional bodies/communities.
  • Maintain links with industry to stay current and to promote collaborations.

What We Are Looking For

To be successful in this role, you should have a relevant qualification preferably in the fields of Data Science, Data Engineering, Machine Learning, and/or Statistics, with a minimum of 2 years' industry experience. You should be proficient in two or more of the following areas:

  • TensorFlow/PyTorch, DeepSpeed/Megatron-LM, and familiar with operating mechanisms of these frameworks and systems.
  • Large language models, using frameworks like Hugging Face and LangChain and other core NLP algorithm model construction and improvement.
  • Variety of optimization algorithms and model architectures, including various classical algorithms and models based on gradients (BERT, GPT-3).
  • AWS/Azure cloud services involving development cycle DevOps/MLOps and the Agile approach.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer an estimated salary of $80,000-$120,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience. In addition, you will receive a range of benefits, including opportunities for professional growth and development, flexible working arrangements, and a supportive work environment.
