About the Role

This Corporate Lawyer position involves supporting the legal team in various corporate secretarial matters, including debt collection, advisory, and drafting of representative agreements. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial principles and risk, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Serve as primary contact for preparing and storing electronic Board papers and materials.
  2. Draft various corporate resolutions, meeting minutes, agreements, and legal correspondence.
  3. Coordinate meetings of the Board, Board-level committees, and annual meeting of shareholders.
  4. Assist with preparation of directors' disclosure documents.
  5. Filing of corporate disclosure, material change documents, and other statutory or regulatory filings.
  6. Maintain corporate records and administer Legal & Compliance file and record keeping system.
  7. Maintain Minutes Books of MLS, MFA, and MFSL.
  8. Support debt recovery matters and administration of representative agreements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  1. Licensed to practice law in Singapore.
  2. Minimum 1-3 years of experience.
  3. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  4. Well-organized with attention to detail.
  5. An understanding of financial principles and risk.
