Speech Therapist Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Therapist to fill this challenging role.

This position requires an individual who can assess, diagnose and treat patients with communication and swallowing difficulties. Our diverse patient population includes children and adults from various departments such as ENT, Oncology, Neurology, Plastic Surgery, Respiratory Medicine and Paediatrics.

The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment. They will also be required to undertake delegated operational and administrative responsibilities for senior positions.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Assess and diagnose patients with communication and swallowing difficulties.
  • Work with a diverse patient population including children and adults.
  • Undertake delegated operational and administrative responsibilities for senior positions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Speech Pathology or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 4-6 years relevant clinical experience in a large acute hospital setting (for senior positions).
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Eligible for registration with the Allied Health Professional Council.
  • Fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
