Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our data centre category management efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement, category management, and data centres, with excellent negotiation and contracting skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing category strategies to drive cost optimisation and manage supply risk. This will involve performing supplier market, spend, and supplier base analyses, as well as working closely with stakeholders to develop sourcing strategies.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of the data centre industry, including mechanical and electrical equipment and services. You will also need to be able to work independently and influence stakeholders at all levels.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Supply Chain or relevant field
  • Relevant experience in procurement and category management
  • Experience in data centres or mechanical and electrical (M&E) equipment and services
  • Technical knowledge in M&E field
  • Excellent negotiation and contracting skills
  • Able to work independently and influence stakeholders
