Elite Swim Coach

We are seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Coach/Assistant Coach, Swimming Academy and National Youth Training Centre.
As a coach, you will be responsible for planning and implementing training and competition plans for student-athletes towards high performance in sports, based on long-term athlete development principles. You will work closely with the Head Coach, General Manager, fellow coaches, school staff, and external stakeholders to achieve the sporting goals and holistic development of student-athletes under your care.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of competitive coaching experience with elite and developmental youth athletes. They will possess the equivalent of the SG-Coach Level 1 (Theory and Technical) and/or an international swimming coaching qualification recognized by World Aquatics. Additionally, they will fulfill requirements to obtain National Registry of Coaches (NROC) membership and Ministry of Education (MOE) registration.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a good understanding of sports science as applied to elite youth sports based on long-term athlete development principles. They will also have a keen understanding of the quality Daily Training Environment needed for the development of student-athletes. Furthermore, they will be competent in value inculcation and character development for student-athletes.
Strong planning, administrative, and organizational skills are essential, along with progressive knowledge, skills, and attitude towards the use of data analytics in the training program. The ideal candidate will also be able to communicate well in English with student-athletes and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and implement training and competition plans for student-athletes
- Work closely with the Head Coach, General Manager, fellow coaches, school staff, and external stakeholders
- Develop student-athletes to be competitive swimmers
- Communicate effectively with student-athletes and stakeholders
- At least 2 years of competitive coaching experience with elite and developmental youth athletes
