Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced IT professional who can oversee the daily operation and maintenance of IT systems, including servers, networks, and applications. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of ensuring high availability and reliability of these systems.

The successful candidate will provide guidance, support, and training to mentor junior team members, assist in developing and implementing IT operational policies, procedures, and standards, and develop and maintain documentation for IT systems, configurations, and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operation and maintenance of IT systems, including servers, networks, and applications
  • Provide guidance, support, and training to mentor junior team members
  • Assist in developing and implementing IT operational policies, procedures, and standards
  • Develop and maintain documentation for IT systems, configurations, and procedures
  • Manage relationships with customers, vendors, and service providers
  • Respond to and resolve escalated IT issues and incidents
  • Analyse IT operations metrics and KPIs
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for IT operations staff
  • Monitor IT system performance and security
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments of IT infrastructure and processes
  • Collaborate with internal and external parties to support IT projects and initiatives
  • Coordinate with the business and finance teams

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in IT infrastructure operations support within the ICT industry
  • Technical hands-on experiences in troubleshooting hardware and software
  • Intermediate knowledge of IT infrastructure, including networking technologies
  • Experience with incident management
  • Familiar with system administration tasks and competent in operating systems
  • Excellent communication skills

Salary:

$80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
