Job Overview

This role requires an experienced Non-Destructive Testing Specialist to work on challenging projects. The successful candidate will have a minimum Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, and possess certification of a current NAS410 / EN4179 / PCN / ASNT or SNT-TC-1A standard.

The ideal candidate will be familiar with the scope and limitations of various Non-Destructive Testing methods, including Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI). They will also have experience in dealing with aircraft structures, engines, and/or components, or acceptable alternative training or experience.

We are looking for someone who can develop and manage inspection techniques, conduct system performance checks, and work under pressure in a dynamic environment. If you have good working knowledge of MS Office applications and SAP, and are a strong team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills, we would like to hear from you.

Responsibilities
  • Set up and standardize equipment, process parts, interpret and evaluate results, and document findings in accordance with procedures.
  • Familiar with codes, standards, and other contractual documents that control methods including scope and limitations.
  • Conduct system performance checks in accordance with applicable process standard.
  • Develop and manage inspection techniques (sheets) for NDT Level 3 approval.
  • CARRY OUT ANY OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED.
Requirements
  • Minimum Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Possess at least 400 hours of performing FPI-Aerospace and at least 2 years of experience in dealing with aircraft structures, engines, and/or components, or acceptable alternative training or experience.
  • Possess certification of a current NAS410 / EN4179 / PCN / ASNT or SNT-TC-1A standard.
  • Possess basic knowledge of product manufacturing, inspection technology, and aircraft engine maintenance.
