Emerging Technology Investment Lead

As an Emerging Technology Investment Lead at EDBI, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of innovation and investment.
Our team invests prolifically and globally in tomorrow's exciting sectors, including Information & Communication Technology, Emerging Technology, Healthcare, and other select industry clusters.
You will be responsible for conducting market research and deal-sourcing, identifying global investment opportunities that align with EDBI's investment mandates.
The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of deep tech sectors and can leverage existing channels to build their own deal-flow sources.
Responsibilities include assessing commercial viability, conducting due diligence, structuring investments, and negotiating terms with EDBI's Legal team.
You will also support the preparation of the investment memo and presentation to the Investment Committee.
In addition, you will conduct portfolio management, including assessing corporate actions and strategy implementation to grow value.
The ideal candidate has at least 4 years of relevant investment experience, a degree in Engineering or Science, and excellent relationship management capabilities.
A willingness to travel for deal flow origination and strong multitasking skills are also required.
