Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct service and repair work on high voltage systems, adhering to manufacturer guidelines and reporting to the workshop foreman for technical assistance as needed.
  • Perform diagnostics and repairs on electrical systems, ensuring that all work is completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Report to the workshop foreman on parts unavailability and technical issues requiring external support.
  • Write concise reports on repair jobs performed, highlighting any issues or concerns.
  • Report job completion to the workshop foreman, clocking in and out as required, and clarifying any doubts with the foreman.
  • Initiate and carry out troubleshooting processes to support the workshop foreman in handling customer complaints.
  • Clock in and out dutifully, ensuring productivity, efficiency, and utilization are recorded accurately.
  • Ensure time recording at the workshop conforms strictly to manufacturer repair times.
  • Assure that customer concerns are addressed promptly and effectively.
  • Ensure the quality of service and repair work, achieving workshop NPS targets.
  • Maintain all equipment and special tools in good working order.
  • Follow and comply with workshop safety procedures.
  • Maintain a safe, orderly, and tidy work environment.
  • Comply with factory warranty guidelines on warranty claim procedures.
  • Assist the Aftersales Manager, Service Manager, Workshop Executive, Job Controller, Foreman, and Technical Executive with ad hoc tasks as assigned.
Requirements
  • Minimum NTC 2 or Nitec in Automotive-related courses or GCE O Level, with a Professional Certificate in Automotive Technician being a plus.
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in the relevant automotive industry.
  • Experience in electric vehicle or equipment service and maintenance is highly desirable.
  • Working hours: Monday to Friday (8:30am to 5:30pm), alternate Saturdays (8:30am to 12:30pm).
  • Alexandra, basic + AWS + incentive.
