Traffic Engineer/Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Traffic Engineer/Coordinator to join our team at Samsung C&T Corporation. As a key member of our infrastructure development team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing traffic management systems, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of people and goods.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement traffic management plans, including schematic concept design and traffic control plans.
  • Collaborate with clients, consultants, and approving agencies to ensure deliverable submissions and obtain necessary approvals.
  • Plan, schedule, and manage all aspects of traffic work, including coordination with consultants, sub-contractors, and project site operation teams.
  • Process and handle applications for internal approval of quotations related to term contractor works.
  • Attend site coordination and site inspection meetings as required.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year experience as a traffic/highway engineer.
  • Working knowledge of International/Singapore highway design standards.
  • Knowledge of CDC (Civil Design Criteria) for road design and application.
  • Knowledge of BCA/LTA and other Authority requirements and approval process in Singapore.
  • Knowledge of LTA/PUB construction sequence.
