Service Engineer, Marine Diesel

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Engineer to join our team and assist in the repair, maintenance, and overhaul of 2-stroke and 4-stroke marine diesel engines. The successful candidate will work under the guidance of experienced Engineers or Technicians.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Repair and maintain marine diesel engines to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Work safely and efficiently in shipyards or at anchorage locations, adhering to all operational protocols.
  • Transport and handle heavy engine components with care.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to provide timely responses and updates.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.

Requirements:

  • Hold relevant qualifications in marine, mechanical, or engineering disciplines.
  • Have hands-on experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair, which is an added advantage.
  • Fresh graduates or individuals without experience are welcome to apply as apprentices; training will be provided.
  • Be willing to work in shipyard or anchorage environments.
