Job Title: Healthcare Support Associate

About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Healthcare Support Associate. In this role, you will provide exceptional care and support to residents in their daily lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Bathe and attend to residents' personal hygiene needs, including brushing teeth and assisting with toileting.
  • Make and tidy beds daily, ensuring a clean and comfortable environment for residents.
  • Apply ointments/creams and perform simple dressings as needed, providing basic wound care.
  • Assist with serving breakfast and feeding residents during mealtimes, promoting social interaction and nutrition.
  • Clean and maintain residents' rooms, corridors, and common areas, adhering to high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Empty rubbish bins, bedpans, and urinals, maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
  • Accompany residents to hospitals, outpatient departments, and outings, providing emotional support and companionship.
  • Perform laundry duties as assigned, contributing to the smooth operation of the facility.
  • Assist in the kitchen, washing dishes, cutting food, and performing other tasks as assigned by the Kitchen Operation Supervisor.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

We are looking for individuals who possess excellent communication skills, a compassionate nature, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Previous experience in a healthcare setting is an asset, but not required.
