About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Counsellor or Social Worker to join our team at LIBERTE HR SERVICES PTE. LTD. as part of our Strengthening Families Programme. The successful candidate will work with families and individuals to build resilience, enhance psychological functioning, and improve family relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with divorced or divorcing parents to resolve co-parenting disputes and facilitate supervised visitation sessions for children and visiting parents in high-conflict divorce cases.
  • Conduct psycho-educational and therapeutic group programs for parents and children, promoting healthy relationships and communication skills.
  • Maintain accurate case documentation and program statistics, adhering to professional practice standards and service models.
  • Prepare reports for the Family Justice Court for court-mandated cases, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the programme.
Requirements
  • A minimum qualification of a master's degree in counselling recognized by Singapore Association of Counselling (SAC);
  • Registered clinical member with SAC (or in the process of applying).
  • For Social Workers:
    • A minimum qualification of a recognized bachelor's degree in social work (or higher);
    • Registered social worker with SWAAB (or in the process of applying).
    • At least 3 years of relevant work experience, with parents, couples, and families.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work with other professionals and maintain sensitive and confidential information.
  • Proficient in maintaining detailed and accurate documentation, with the ability to assess and manage risks related to family violence, child abuse, and suicide.
  • Competent in working with highly conflictual couples and families, with excellent team player skills and the ability to take on a leadership role when necessary.
  • Fluent in another language such as Mandarin, Malay, or Tamil is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Flexibility to work on Saturdays and some weekday evenings.
