We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Systems Administrator to join our team.

Job Description

As a Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex systems architectures for on-premise and cloud environments. You will work closely with project managers and architects to deliver solutions that meet organizational needs. Deploying and configuring servers, operating systems, network devices, and other critical infrastructure components is also part of your responsibilities. In addition, you will monitor and maintain the health of critical systems and infrastructure, perform system upgrades, patches, and security updates as necessary, administer backups and disaster recovery processes to ensure system availability and data integrity. Furthermore, you will provide third-level support for hardware and software issues escalated by helpdesk and support teams, perform root cause analysis and apply appropriate fixes or patches to resolve system issues. Implementing and enforcing security policies and procedures for system hardening, user access, and data protection is another key responsibility. Ensuring systems are compliant with industry standards, legal requirements, and company policies is also essential. Proactively monitoring system performance and taking necessary actions to prevent system downtime, performing regular capacity planning, and making recommendations for system upgrades or modifications as required, are also critical tasks. Finally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams including network engineers, developers, and cybersecurity specialists to maintain a robust infrastructure, and maintain detailed documentation for system configurations, standard operating procedures, and troubleshooting steps.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong experience with server operating systems (e.g., Windows Server, Linux, Unix).
  • Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Experience in configuring and managing networking hardware (e.g., routers, firewalls, switches).
  • Knowledge of scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Ansible).
  • Understanding of storage solutions (e.g., SAN, NAS, cloud storage).
  • Minimum of (X) years of experience in systems administration, engineering, or IT infrastructure.
  • Prior experience with managing complex enterprise-level systems.
  • IT certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, CompTIA Network+, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), or similar credentials.
