Electrical Design Manager Job

We are seeking an Electrical Design Manager to lead our engineering team in the preparation, checking and submission of technical documents.

The ideal candidate will have experience in power electronics, HV/MV/LT/ELV/ICA design, schematics & layout design, cable assembly design, and documentation.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead a group of engineers in preparing, checking and submitting drawings, catalogues and calculations.
  • Supervise team for the design, implementation, maintenance, and improvement of electrical/electronic systems.
  • Oversee project conception, design and specifications, and manage scheduling, estimating and securing resources.
  • Manage technical matters in projects and provide technical recommendations.
  • Conduct engineering studies and investigations and provide engineering guidance.
  • Represent the company at technical meetings with clients, stakeholders and suppliers.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent and above.
  • Electrical PE/LEW certification.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of design experience in Power Electronics HV/MV/LT/ELV/ICA etc.
  • Proficient with MS Office Program, AutoCAD.
  • Knowledge on designing in 3D layout/BIM/OBD is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in English (written and oral skills) is essential.
  • A responsible, self-motivated, meticulous and resourceful team player with good organisational and communication skills.
