Job Description

As a seasoned Credit Risk Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting thorough credit risk assessments of existing and potential borrowers. You will analyze financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant data to identify potential risks and develop recommendations for loan approvals or denials.

You will work closely with the Branch Senior Management to ensure that all credit decisions are made in accordance with the company's policies and procedures. Additionally, you will support the Head of Department in achieving departmental targets and contribute to the development of a culture of accountability and good conduct within the team.

The ideal candidate will have at least 15-20 years of experience in credit analysis, preferably in corporate banking. A degree is required, and team lead experience is an asset. The ability to analyze complex financial data, think critically, and communicate effectively is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough credit risk assessments of existing and potential borrowers
  • Develop and implement credit policies and procedures
  • Support the Head of Department in achieving departmental targets
  • Contribute to the development of a culture of accountability and good conduct within the team

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
  • Team lead experience is an asset
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
