Job Title: Senior Architectural Coordinator

Description

A highly skilled Architectural Coordinator is required to support the Management team in preparing reports, managing documentation, and attending coordination meetings.

  • Support the Management team in preparing reports, managing documentation, and attending coordination meetings.
  • Lead a team of Design Coordinators in managing and coordinating architectural works in accordance with project specifications, timelines, and quality standards.
  • Liaise with consultants, clients, and subcontractors to ensure proper interpretation and implementation of architectural drawings and details.
  • Ensure compliance with local authority requirements, codes of practice, and company standards.
  • Plan, organize, and supervise production of construction drawings including shop drawings submissions and approvals.
  • Provide technical support to the site team and address discrepancies or design issues during construction.
  • Monitor architectural progress on-site and resolve coordination issues involving structural, M&E, and ID trades.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure workmanship and materials meet architectural requirements.
Requirements

The successful candidate will have a degree in Architecture with minimum 8 years' relevant experience at managerial level with a main construction firm.

  • Knowledge of local submission and authority processes (e.g., URA, BCA, or local equivalents).
  • Be meticulous, highly motivated, and independent with excellent team spirit and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to communicate in Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking associates will be an added advantage.
