We are seeking a skilled Purchasing Assistant to join our team at Star Furniture Pte Ltd.

In this role, you will play a critical part in managing sourcing and procurement needs for our retail operations in Singapore, Taiwan, and local projects.

Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Managing supplier relationships and negotiating terms
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date supplier information
  • Issuing purchase orders and tracking shipments
  • Collaborating with the Inventory Control & Logistic Department to ensure smooth inventory management
  • Planning and attending local and overseas trade shows


Requirements

The ideal candidate should have a Diploma in Purchasing Management or Supply Chain Management, or equivalent.

A minimum of 2 years of purchasing experience is preferred, as well as experience with ERP or SAP systems.

Excellent English and Mandarin language skills are necessary to communicate effectively with counterparts.

Proactive, team-oriented attitude, attention to detail, strong analytical, negotiation, and organizational skills are essential.

Good interpersonal communication skills are necessary for success in this role.
