Production Planning Specialist - Manufacturing Role

Job Description

This Production Planner position is designed for an individual with strong organizational and analytical skills to effectively manage production schedules and materials inventory. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating with cross-functional teams, including testing and production staff, to ensure timely delivery of products.

  • Industry/Organization Type: Manufacturing
  • Position Title: Production Planner/Materials Planner
  • Working Location: Serangoon
  • Working Hours: 5 days (Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 6 PM)

Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Planning and managing inventory at optimal levels to meet production requirements
  • Monitoring production schedules to ensure on-time delivery
  • Collaborating with the testing team and arranging production staff according to production schedules
  • Performing other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this position, applicants should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Minimum Diploma in Manufacturing/Production/Electronics Engineering
  • Minimum 1 year experience in the electronics manufacturing industry
  • Able to communicate and work closely with internal customers, purchasing team, and subcontractors
  • Material planning for production requirement
  • Experience with ERP and MRP systems
