Business Development Expert

As a key player in our organisation's expansion into the Asia Pacific region, we seek an accomplished Sales/Business Development Lead to spearhead our entry into the bearings market. Your extensive industry knowledge and expertise will enable you to drive business growth through strategic partnerships and innovative sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Development & Sales Growth: Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy for the Asia Pacific region, focusing on steel mills and related sectors.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers across the bearings supply chain, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and addressing technical and commercial needs.
- Market Research & Intelligence: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, competitive dynamics, and new business opportunities, providing regular updates on market conditions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience: A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in the bearings industry, with a proven track record in business development or sales.
- Skills & Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of bearings products, applications, specifications, and supply chain in the region; established network of customers and distributors in the Asia Pacific region (excluding China).
- Language Skills: Fluency in English is required, with additional proficiency in local language(s) of the region being a plus.
Travel and Remuneration:
- Travel: Willingness to travel extensively across the Asia Pacific region as required to meet customers and attend industry events.
