About the Position

The Health and Environmental Officer will play a crucial role in ensuring that our workplace is free from potential hazards and risks. This position will require the successful candidate to conduct regular risk assessments, propose recommendations, and review them as necessary to ensure a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Regular Risk Assessments: Identify potential hazards and risks associated with work activities.
  • Propose Recommendations: Provide recommendations to mitigate potential hazards and risks.
  • Review and Update: Review and update risk assessments as necessary to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Document and Advise: Develop documentation for project risk assessment and safety work procedures, and advise the Project Manager on Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) matters.
  • Enforce Safety Requirements: Implement and enforce all safety rules, regulations, and procedures in place.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Hold a registered WSH Officer certification from MOM, specifically in the Construction & Building related field.
  • Work Experience: Possess at least 2 years of experience as a WSHO in the construction industry.
  • Industry Familiarity: Have experience in the construction industry and be familiar with Singapore's legal requirements.
  • Communication Skills: Demonstrate ability to work effectively with people from all levels and communicate clearly.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Exhibit good interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration and communication within the team.
