About the Opportunity:
\We are seeking a skilled Quality Inspector to join our team at Velocity Electronics Asia Pte Ltd.
\In this role, you will use state-of-the-art tools and techniques to ensure that products meet customer requirements and manufacturer's specifications.
\You will be responsible for performing quality inspections, using advanced equipment and inspection methodology, recording inspection results, and communicating findings to stakeholders.
\Key Responsibilities and Functions:
\- \
- Perform quality inspection on electronic components and related products\
- Use advanced equipment and inspection methodology to confirm product meets customer requirements\
- Record inspection results and evidence in Velocity's ERP system\
- Take and prepare photo documentation\
- Coordinate with Quality Managers to ensure all requested tests are performed\\
- Communicate inspection findings to Quality Managers and other teams as needed\\
- Familiarize yourself with complex ERP systems and Microsoft Office suite\\
- Understanding of basic math concepts, including percentages and tolerances\\
- Experience handling electronic components and/or inspection/quality assurance a plus\\
- Detail-oriented, thorough, organized, problem solver, quick learner, adaptable, dedicated, and able to work in a fast-paced environment\\
- Able to work with limited oversight and maintain confidentiality when necessary\\
- Familiar with electrostatic protected areas (EPA) and proper personal protective equipment (PPE)\\
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally\\
- Close vision and color discrimination required\\
- Manual dexterity required for manipulating small items\\
- Additional skills such as photography and photo editing a plus\\
- College degree or equivalent experience preferred\\
- Able to communicate effectively in writing and verbally\\
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills\\
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations a plus\\
- Able to work in a team environment and contribute to a positive work culture\\
- Ability to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies quickly\\
- Able to maintain accurate records and reports\\
- Familiarity with X-ray equipment, hot surfaces, solvents, and other potential hazards in an EPA environment\\
