Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Regional Security Manager to join our team at PINKERTON (SINGAPORE) PTE LTD. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing protective security operations across the assigned region, ensuring the safety of company assets, employees, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and manage comprehensive physical security programs in collaboration with workplace teams, commercial teams, quality assurance, public affairs, and other disciplines.
  2. Support physical security, security operations, event security, facility integrity, and crisis management.
  3. Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
  4. Oversee daily security operations, including access control, surveillance, and incident response.
  5. Manage and coordinate with local security teams and external security partners.
  6. Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of security systems equipment.
  7. Support the enterprise and physical security requirements within the assigned region.
  8. Ensure SLA/KPI's are maintained and regularly reviewed with our security partners.
  9. Oversee and support external events, activities, and meetings.
Requirements:

A bachelor's degree in security management, criminal justice, or a related field with six plus years' experience in security management.

Professional certificate (e.g., CPP, PSP) preferred but not essential. Member of a professional security body for security professionals.

Competencies:
  • Strong knowledge about layered security systems, security practices, access control, surveillance technology, incident response protocols, and a strong management experience.
  • Proven experience in physical security, risk assessments, security audits, and crisis management.
  • Serve as an effective team leader.
  • Strong problem resolution skills.
  • Incident and emergency response and crisis management experience.
  • Crime prevention knowledge.
  • Results-oriented and client-focused.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to identify and adapt quickly to emerging situations.
  • Strong team building and development skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment with limited instruction.
  • Strong communication skills and relentless attention to detail.

  • Maintain composure in dealing with authorities, executives, clients, staff, and the public occasionally under conditions of urgency and in pressure situations.
  • Rapid and effective decision-making during unusual or emergency situations.
  • Frequent sitting and/or standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.
  • Must be able to work any shift including evenings, weekends, and holidays to ensure successful completion of work assignments.
  • Travel, as required.
