Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Backend Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Customer Experience Team, you will be responsible for designing and building microservices architecture using Java Spring Boot to ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability.

You will manage microservices components such as service discovery, configuration, and load balancing with Spring Cloud, and analyze, process, and explore big data using technologies like ElasticSearch, HBase, Spark, Flink. Your goal will be to optimize data storage and retrieval systems for efficient handling.

You will collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver data solutions aligned with business needs, monitor and troubleshoot backend services to maintain smooth operations, and participate throughout the software development lifecycle: requirement gathering, system design, coding, testing, and deployment.

You will also maintain and enhance existing backend services ensuring code quality and performance, and work cross-functionally to integrate data solutions into existing applications.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields;
  • Proficiency in Java programming;
  • Familiarity with big data and caching technologies like Redis, HBase, ElasticSearch, Spark, Flink;
  • Knowledge or experience with feature engineering;
  • Experience with large-scale internet systems (advertising, search, recommendation) or e-commerce systems is preferred.
