Job Title: Process Optimization Specialist

We are seeking a talented Process Optimization Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our optimization team, you will play a critical role in driving business outcomes through intelligent IT systems.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and motivated individual to design algorithms that move millions of containers more efficiently, make data-driven decisions in real-time, and help orchestrate one of the world's most complex logistical ecosystems.

Your key responsibilities will include translating operational challenges into optimization problems using deep understanding of data and system dynamics, formulating and developing optimization models to improve automation efficiency, turnaround times, and system resilience, and identifying and evaluating new use cases or opportunities for intelligent decision support across our terminals.

You will also work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful solution deployment and measurable business impact.

We are looking for a self-starter with curiosity, resilience, and the drive to see complex projects through. You will have strong analytical and business analysis skills, able to uncover root problems and connect technical solutions to business needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A degree in Computer Science, Industrial/Systems Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or related quantitative field.
  • Strong programming proficiency in C++ and Java, with experience in Python, OR tools, or simulation frameworks a bonus.
  • Solid foundation in operations research, optimization, or AI-related techniques.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
