Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repair
    • Coordinate or carry out maintenance and repair activities for all property systems, ensuring prompt and efficient resolution of issues.
    • Troubleshoot and rectify defects promptly, minimizing downtime and disruptions.
    • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and proactively address them to prevent/minimize disruptions.
    • Attend to tenants' feedback promptly and coordinate necessary rectification works between tenants and contractors.
    • Schedule and oversee preventive maintenance and servicing, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • Track and monitor awarded jobs to contractors, ensuring scope of work and approved budget are met.
    • Contribute solutions and initiatives to improve building enhancements, cost savings, and productivity.
    • Supervise and ensure all awarded jobs (e.g., repair works, installations, A&A, site surveys, maintenance servicing) are carried out safely and orderly at all times.
  • Projects
    • Coordinate and assist Manager/Property Officer/Senior Technician in A&A works, ensuring timely completion and budget adherence.
    • Prepare project schedule, standard guidelines, and costings, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
    • Attend project meetings as necessary, providing updates and insights to stakeholders.
    • Perform other assignments as required by management.
  • Property Acquisition
    • Assist the Property Acquisition Department in conducting checks on the condition of new/shortlisted properties, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness.
    • Liaise with consultants/contractors for site inspection of new/shortlisted properties, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • Report to the Director of Asset Management, providing updates and insights on property acquisition activities.
  • Emergency Response
    • Act as the point of contact for emergency situations, responding promptly to resolve issues and minimize downtime.
    • Work closely with Property Officer to develop and implement response plans to address various technical issues effectively.
    • Provide assistance to subsidiaries within the organization when needed.
  • Equipment Management
    • Ensure the purchase of inventory of tools, equipment, spare parts, and paints, ensuring availability of necessary resources for maintenance activities.
    • Establish relationships with suppliers to procure quality materials and negotiate favorable terms.
    Job Requirements
    • Minimum 'O' Level or NITEC in related engineering field or any technical certifications or vocational training in relevant fields (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) is desirable.
    • Certification in First Aid/CERT is an added advantage.
    • At least 2 years of working experience in large commercial shopping centers, hotels, serviced apartments, or residential properties.
    • Good technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
    • Able to work on rotating shifts on weekends and public holidays.
