Energy Storage Systems Project Lead

The successful candidate will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of energy storage projects. This role requires a strong background in project management, renewable energy, battery storage technologies, and grid integration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the end-to-end project lifecycle for energy storage systems, from feasibility studies to commissioning.
  • Develop project schedules, budgets, and risk assessments to ensure timely and cost-effective execution.
  • Oversee engineering, procurement, and construction activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
Technical Compliance
  • Ensure energy storage projects meet local, state, and federal regulations, industry standards, and safety requirements.
  • Work closely with regulatory agencies, utilities, and permitting bodies to secure approvals and interconnection agreements.
  • Stay updated on advancements in battery energy storage technologies, grid integration, and energy policies.
Team Coordination
  • Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, procurement, finance, and operations) to align project goals.
  • Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including suppliers, contractors, utility companies, and regulatory authorities.
  • Communicate project progress, risks, and mitigation strategies to senior management and investors.
Financial Management
  • Monitor project budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure financial viability.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address technical, financial, and operational challenges.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project success and efficiency.
Project Handover
  • Oversee system testing, commissioning, and performance validation.
  • Ensure seamless integration of ESS with the electrical grid or microgrid systems.
  • Provide training and documentation to operations and maintenance teams for long-term system performance.
