Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Sourcing Strategies

Design and improve assigned supply chains, including in-house and outsourced options, contracting strategies, and commercial tactics. Manage post-award contract management with business partners.

Build and Maintain Strong Supplier Relationships

Establish and maintain strong networks in the market, staying informed about supplier developments and opportunities. Apply the CMCP process and Contracting & Procurement (CP) operations practices while focusing on business drivers and compliance.

Manage Contracts and Procurement Processes

Understand changes in the business, business drivers, and external environment, and adjust supply chain end-to-end processes, category strategies, and contracts accordingly. Manage relationships across the end-to-end supply chain for assigned categories, ensuring stakeholders understand contract intent and work together to achieve desired business outcomes.

Drive Cost Reductions and Value Creation

Identify opportunities in the contract portfolio to create more value and/or eliminate waste. Drive total cost reductions and value beyond 'the usual' by replicating game-changer improvements and recommended practices.

Lead Contract Negotiations and Tender Evaluations

Conduct tenders, evaluate bids, and drive negotiations with suppliers in line with CMCP guidance and in close collaboration with the business.

Proactively Identify and Understand Procurement Needs

Proactively identify and understand procurement needs from internal stakeholders and propose competitive solutions for the end-to-end Supply Chain.

Ensure Integrated Ways of Working

Ensure integrated ways of working with business and suppliers, managing supplier relationships effectively and collaboratively driving continuous performance improvement via relevant contract key metrics.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience

Possess a Degree in Business or Engineering with working experience in contract negotiations and tender evaluation. 3 to 5 years working experience in managing oil & gas projects in either downstream or upstream.

Skills and Qualifications

MCIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) Qualification would be preferred but not mandatory. Proven track record of execution excellence & delivering results. Strong and Proven Interpersonal, Influencing & Stakeholder Management Skills. Able to perform contract management (including post contract process steps) and manage multiple workstreams at the same time.
