Actuaries play a vital role in helping clients navigate the rapidly changing insurance industry. As a senior associate to manager, you will be part of a team that offers innovative business solutions to drive growth and success.

The ideal candidate for this position should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Advanced proficiency in actuarial modelling is a must, with experience in Prophet preferred.

  • Perform audits for life insurance and reinsurance clients, liaising with internal and external stakeholders to discuss findings and prepare assessment reports.
  • Contribute to IFRS 17 projects, assisting in financial impact assessments, performing actuarial modelling, and providing technical support.
  • Participate in advisory engagements related to capital and risk management reviews, reserving and pricing reviews, mergers and acquisitions consulting, and pension valuation.
  • Review or build financial models including business planning/forecasting, corporate financing and capital management.
  • Mentor and train junior staff, promoting knowledge sharing and career development within the team.

The successful candidate will possess a recognised degree or relevant qualification, with at least 2-6 years of experience in the life insurance or consulting field preferably within the ASEAN market. Strong communication skills are essential, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
