Abbott, a global leader in healthcare innovation, is seeking an experienced Medical Device Sales Representative to join our team. As a sales professional with expertise in medical devices and hospital environments, you will promote and sell our cutting-edge products to healthcare professionals.

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled sales representative who can develop strong relationships with physicians, hospitals, and other key stakeholders in the cardiology industry. Your primary responsibilities will include promoting and selling Abbott Vascular products, achieving sales targets, and providing exceptional customer service. You will work closely with our sales manager to set targets, monitor progress, and implement effective sales strategies. To succeed in this role, you will need excellent communication skills, product knowledge, and a deep understanding of the healthcare industry.

Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell Abbott Vascular products to established customers and develop new business opportunities.
  • Achieve individual sales targets by conducting regular sales calls, providing product information, and maintaining close relationships with key accounts.
  • Stay up-to-date on market trends, competitors' activities, and latest clinical data to provide informed advice to customers.
  • Collaborate with the sales manager to set targets, monitor progress, and implement effective sales strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales performance, and product usage.
  • Assist in inventory management, including product movement and stock checks, to ensure optimal stock levels and efficient supply chain operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Nursing, or related disciplines.
  • At least 2 years of sales experience in a hospital environment, preferably with cardiology products or medical devices.
  • Strong product knowledge, technical skills, and ability to communicate complex information effectively.
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in field reporting data systems and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
