Senior Production Quality Manager

A critical position within our organization is currently available for an experienced SQM IC Testing Series Production Engineer. This role requires a highly skilled and motivated professional to oversee the quality management of semiconductor testing processes.

• This includes responsibility for ensuring that all aspects of testing meet the required standards, including SQM (Supply Quality Management) within specific categories.
• The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate complex data and make informed decisions.
• Prior experience in semiconductor industry or test environments is highly desirable, as well as proven track record in managing quality for wafer test, final test, and burn-in suppliers.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing supplier quality assurance along the entire process chain, including application-specific requirements such as functional safety and cybersecurity.
• Secure implementation and compliance to IATF and VDA standards.
• Supplier release and technology release by supporting the preferred supplier and process technology strategy.
• Evaluation of supplier product/process changes, evaluating risks at component level, providing SQM recommendation, and coordinating the change release process in Continental.

• Tracking of Quality Performance of OSAT's and Test suppliers.
• Manage 8Ds, Red Alerts and Early Warnings.
• Responsible for PLC / MLC gate releases.
• Manage manufacturing release incl. all industrialization topics and assure execution.
• Support of yield improvements at Technical Operations Management and Test Program Engineering.
• Release of Burn-in boards e.g., safe-launch.
• Responsible for annual re-qualification / reliability monitoring at OSAT .
• Responsible for Burn-in and 3-temp FT during safe-launch and release report.
• Responsible for 8D's and FA of customer failures and release of corrective actions.
• Continues tracking of quality performance at OSAT and Test suppliers.
• Responsible for MRB releases of production material at OSAT and test supplier.
• Responsible for test coverage enhancements with Technical Operations Management and Test Program Engineering.
• Manage TPCR's (test program change requests) of Continental (change request to test supplier e.g., test coverage, yield improvements, TTR, …).
• Manage PCN's of Continental (change request to OSAT).
• Perform risk assessments and decision proposals.
• Responsible for onsite follow-up of all quality related items at OSAT and Test supplier.
• Tracking of safe-launch actions at OSAT and Test supplier.
• Continues improvement of quality performance at OSAT and Test suppliers.
• Supplier Development for OSAT and Test supplier.
• Perform VDA6.3 audits for technology development and manufacturing processes at AESS suppliers (external).
• Secure implementation and compliance to IATF and VDA standards.
• Review Lessons learned & read across implementation at supplier.

• Academic degree in Engineering, Business administration or comparable qualification.
• Minimum 7+ years of experience in semiconductor industry.
• Proven track record in managing quality for wafer test, final test, and burn-in suppliers.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor test flows, reliability testing, and failure analysis.
• With experience in Purchasing, R&D, Controlling or comparable preferably Automotive Industry.
• Strong knowledge o AEC-Q100, IATF16949 APQP and PPAP process.
• Expertise in 8D, FMEA, SPC, DOE and risk management tools.
• Bilingual in English & Mandarin.
• Strong Decision-Making Skills and entrepreneurship.
• Project management knowledge, strong attention to detail and agile result-oriented negotiation skills.
• Eager to learn new skillsets and to develop personally.
• Strong team contributor, comfortable in collaborating with cross functional and highly multicultural teams in a highly active, fast paced environment across multiple time zones.
• Excellent presentation and written communication skills to various levels of the internal and supplier organizations.
• Willingness to travel regionally and globally to support supplier sites and audits.
