Job Title: Trade Accountant Specialist

Our organization is seeking a skilled Trade Accountant Specialist to join our team. This role involves managing transactions related to trade accounts payable and ensuring timely resolution of issues.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, accounting principles, and experience with financial software systems. They should also possess excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process invoices and payments for trade vendors in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and submit trade facility applications and supporting documents as required.
  • Monitor and coordinate the resolution of invoices lacking Goods Received Notes (GRN) in a timely manner.
  • Track advance payments to vendors and ensure accurate posting in the ERP system.
  • Manage all transactions related to trade accounts payable within the ERP system, including reconciliation of vendor statements of accounts.
  • Address year-end audit inquiries related to accounts payable.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Head of Accounting and Finance.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or equivalent in accounting and finance.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in finance-related functions, particularly in treasury or accounts payable.
  • Individuals without experience are encouraged to apply, as training is provided.
