Job Title: Adjunct Mathematics Instructor

Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate educator to support course instruction and groom aviation leaders of tomorrow. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in mathematics and be open to using engaging visuals, technologies, and methods to facilitate knowledge transfer and interaction with undergraduate and graduate students.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • At least a master's or doctoral degree in Mathematics
  • Confident and comfortable to engage with large groups
  • Professional experience in the aviation industry or teaching experience at a higher educational institution is advantageous

Note:
This is an adjunct position where the faculty will be engaged for a nine-week term. The faculty member will be required to teach up to six hours per week in class. Each term consists of eight weeks of teaching and one week of examination and grading. The adjunct faculty must be available to teach during the day during weekdays and/or weekends.
